Falcon Ridge Ranch is a fully-licensed residential treatment center for girls 13-17 years of age. The equine therapy school for troubled teens is located on the outskirts of Zion’s National Park, the horse therapy ranch resides in the small idyllic community of Virgin, Utah. The 12 acres are not just a home to those who stay with us, but home to a variety of animals including over thirty horses.
Falcon Ridge Ranch is located at Virgin, Utah, within 10 miles of Zion National Park, Falcon Ridge Ranch sits on twelve acres surrounded by trees, green pastures, and majestic red rock cliffs of southern Utah. Daytime skies are generally azure blue, and nights are filled with a cavalcade of stars.
Falcon Ridge Ranch is a state-licensed residential treatment facility for female adolescents, ages twelve to seventeen, who are experiencing behavioral and emotional problems that require a level of structure and care beyond that which is available in traditional outpatient clinics, but that does not require inpatient psychiatric care. They have a “staff-secured” environment, meaning that our students are under direct supervision by the staff continuously for twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.
