Julian Youth Academy was founded as a nonprofit in 1993 and is a fully accredited, private Christian residential school located in Northern California. JYA is designed for struggling teenagers in need of full-time supervision and redirection and is the only Christian school in California dealing with teenagers with behavioral issues. JYA accepts students (boys and girls) ages 12 to 17.
Julian Youth Academy restores teens to a healthy outlook on life through loving and firm guidance; to teach life skills; and to build character. JYA is open to any family regardless of race or religion and offers an individualized curriculum for each student. JYA provides different payment options and scholarships and loans for those who need and qualify for it. Also provides parent training and support meetings and an aftercare program.
