Through the administration of appropriate rewards and consequences, teens learn quickly that vulgar and aggressive language is not tolerated and will result in a loss of privileges and status. Teens also learn alternative ways to deal with frustration and anger. During an in-depth self-discovery process, students will identify areas of their lives which are “not working” and will also learn to slow down their decision making process so that they can respond to a difficult situation instead of reacting.
